Delicious couscous and ham appetizer, an easy and quick recipe for an original dish especially suitable for summer. Ingredients

100 g raw couscous
120 ml water (boiling)
salt to taste
extra virgin olive oil to taste
100 g mayonnaise
200 g cooked ham (sliced)
100 g sweet corn, canned, drained
100 g tuna in oil (drained)
6 cherry tomatoes (for garnish)
to taste arugula (for garnish)
to taste parsley (for garnish)

Preparation:

Bring the water to a boil, place the couscous in a bowl, add a good drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt, pour in the boiling water, stir and set aside for ten minutes to rehydrate, then fluff with a fork.

Season the couscous with the drained tuna, corn, and half of the mayonnaise. Mix. Lay the slices on a surface and fill them one by one with the mixture, forming rolls.

Arrange the rolls on a serving plate, sprinkle with plenty of mayonnaise and garnish with chopped parsley, arugula, and cherry tomatoes.

Our dish is ready to be served, but if you want it to be even better, place it in the fridge for 1 hour covered with plastic wrap and you’ll see it will be a real success!
