About Martino
The decision to collaborate with Martino was driven by a shared aspiration to promote a quality food culture that focuses on well-being without ever compromising on taste, which is essential when dining. Ambient, quick, ready, and healthy dishes must still be synonymous with good and quality dishes, which is why I am truly excited to create recipes that reflect this philosophy, the same that animates the Martino family. The common goal is to spread the culture of Couscous and a message where practicality, versatility, well-being, and taste can be in perfect balance.

A Michelin-starred chef and a prominent figure in contemporary Italian cuisine, Cristina Bowerman is known for her innovative style and ability to blend tradition and experimentation. With international training and a constant focus on sustainability, she promotes creative and conscious cuisine. With Martino, she brought her experience and vision to showcase couscous as a versatile and modern ingredient during the DegustiCous events in 2018 and 2019.
The collaboration with Martino stems from the enthusiasm to tell the story of couscous and its peculiarities during the two DegustiCous events in 2018 and 2019. Martino couscous stands out in the market for its quality, which allows it to be versatile, easy to use, nutritious, and suitable for a healthy and conscious diet.
Born in Gragnano in 1989, Domenico Stile developed a passion for cooking as a teenager, thanks to his uncle, chef Franco La Mura. Fascinated by the world of gastronomy, he attended the hotel management school in Castellammare di Stabia, where he met a key figure in his training, Professor Enrico Cosentino: it was he who made him realize, in his third year of studies, that his path would be in haute cuisine. In February 2016, chef Stile took over the kitchen of Enoteca La Torre, a restaurant located in the luxurious Villa Laetitia hotel in Rome. The accolades were not long in coming: after just seven months, the establishment received its first Michelin star, followed by a second in 2022, awards that have been reconfirmed to this day, along with the three forks from Gambero Rosso and the four hats in the L’Espresso Guide.

A nutritionist biologist, Silvia Alberti promotes a balanced and conscious approach to nutrition, with particular attention to daily well-being and prevention. Through consultations, collaborations, and educational activities, she helps people make healthy food choices without sacrificing taste.
Silvia Alberti, nutritionist, highlights how Martino products can represent a balanced and functional choice for daily nutrition. In particular, she emphasizes the benefits of organic whole wheat couscous, which, thanks to its fiber content, helps increase the feeling of fullness and promote regularity, essential elements for those who wish to maintain constant well-being without sacrificing taste.
She also recommends organic pea couscous, a product that stands out for its low-calorie content and good phosphorus supply, a valuable mineral for the body. Light yet nutritious, it is ideal for those who want to include a simple, natural, and at the same time beneficial food in their diet.
