Delicious, soft, and inviting. Chocolate fudge is a true delight, perfect for ending the meal on a sweet note! Here is our version with couscous. The recipe for chocolate fudge with whole wheat couscous and hazelnuts is by our Anna Attanasio.
Ingredients:
- 60 g of whole wheat couscous
- 60 g of hot milk
- 300 g of dark chocolate
- 200 g of condensed milk
- 100 g of toasted hazelnuts
Preparation:
Rehydrate the couscous with hot milk, stir, cover, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
After the resting time, fluff it with a fork. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave, then add the condensed milk and stir.
Add the hazelnuts and fluffed couscous, and mix to incorporate into the dough. Pour the mixture before it cools into a square or rectangular mold of 14-16 cm lined with parchment paper.
Let it rest in the fridge for about 2 hours. After the resting time, gently remove the fudge from the mold, cut it into 12 squares, and serve.
